Rurouni Kenshin New Live Action Trailer

The second trailer for the upcoming live action adaptation of Rurouni Kenshin has just come out and it looks pretty damn good. Video and information will be below.

More after the jump…

This is how an anime to live film adaptation should look, and once again it makes me a little sad we will never see movies like this get a cinema release outside of Asia. By the same token though it still get’s me a bit excited to see the film if the trailer is this good. Cast wise things are shaping up to be pretty interesting. We have Tekeru Satoh of Kamen Rider Den-o in the role of Kenshin Himura. In addition, Koji Kikkawa (Kamen Rider Skull) will play Jine Udo.

Other stars included in the live action are Emi Takei as Kaoru Kamiya, Yuu Aoi as Megumi Takani, while Munetaka Aoki will play Sanosuke Sagara, and Taketo Tanaka will take on the role of Yahiko Myōjin aka Yoshi. The cast looks solid, the footage has my hopes high for a proper adaptation and overall i am just really stoked for this movie to come out. Rurouni Kenshin debuts on film August 25th 2012.
